On a typically barren part of the Upper East Side of Manhattan sits Paname. 8212; a French restaurant that serves many classic dishes along side not so typical cuisine. The ability to strike a balance between the two makes it a successful menu. I would definitely recommend coming down for some pate, bouillabaisse and a nice glass of French wine. That is before the local apartment complex fills up the reservation book.

Hidden behind a sultry, unmarked storefront, Chouchou is easy to miss, but impossible to forget. No sign or lights mark the way to this secret corner. Gaining its name from a French phrase that acts as a term of endearment, best likened to darling, the restaurant has plenty of critical praise and positive press despite its unassuming façade. Amongst the entrees, I was most impressed with the chicken and lamb tagines.

Zwar war ich schon einmal auf der italineischen Insel - so wie dieses Mal habe ich sie jedoch nicht kennengelernt. Ein Haus in der Nähe von Orosei, irgendwo im Nirgendwo gebucht - herrlich zugewachsen von Oleanderstauden und Palmen in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. An diesen gingen wir auch am ersten Tag. Am zweiten Tag wurde die ganze Baggage in den Bulli.
